What is CBRHosting, and who is behind it?

We're the CBR team, the same people behind CBR Servers. It started as a hobby project so a few close friends had an easy way to host their MX Bikes servers, and over the last couple of years it grew into a full hosting platform. We're riders too, so we build the things we'd want on our own servers.

How quickly can I get a server running?

In seconds. Pick a region, pick a track, give it a name and start it. No config files, no FTP and no waiting on a ticket.

What makes you different from other hosts?

Most hosts give you a folder of text files and leave the rest to you. We rebuilt every system on top of the game: bans with reasons and lengths that lift themselves, track rotations, live timing, race results and full championships, all from simple settings in one dashboard.

How do bans work?

In the game itself a ban is a GUID typed into a text file. Here you ban from the dashboard with a reason and a length, on one server or every server you run, and the rider is let back in automatically when it ends. There's a shared blacklist too, so a known troublemaker is blocked everywhere at once.

How much does it cost?

From $4.99 a month for one server with five slots. You pay for the servers and slots you actually use, and the price per server drops as you add more. Every core feature is included on every plan, the Racing System and API Access with our Discord bot are optional addons, and paying every three months or yearly brings the monthly price down further.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. 24 hours of full access with one server and ten slots, and no card needed. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel, so try it properly before you decide.

Which regions can I host in?

Europe (Germany), USA East (Virginia) and Australia (Sydney). You can move a server between regions whenever you like, at no extra cost, and it keeps its settings and tracks.

Can I use my own tracks?

Yes. Over a thousand tracks are already installed, and you can upload your own straight from the dashboard. One tip: tracks bought from the MX Bikes shop come as a client version that won't load on a server. Grab the separate server version from the same shop page and upload that one instead.

Can I run a championship?

Yes. The Racing System is an optional addon that handles rider registration, sets the server up for each round, runs heats and mains in order by itself and works out the championship points for you.

I host somewhere else. Is switching a hassle?

Not really. Start a server, pick your track and set your rules in a few clicks, most people are up and running in minutes. If you want a hand moving over, ask us on Discord or open a support ticket from your dashboard.

Can I change my plan or cancel?

Any time, from the dashboard. Add or remove slots, add servers, switch region or cancel whenever you want.

I have an idea, or I found a bug. Where do I go?

Tell us on Discord or open a support ticket from your dashboard. We read everything, and a lot of what's on the site today started as a suggestion from someone in the community. Bug reports especially help us a ton.
